
Building on the raw, unpolished, nostalgic direction created for Extrema’s 15th anniversary campaign in 2025, the identity evolved this year into a more modular and scalable system.
For 2026, the festival was restructured into distinct musical clusters, each assigned its own color palette, logo types, visual assets and dedicated templates - allowing for varied expressions within a shared aesthetic, while coming together within a broader visual layer used for the festival’s overall communication and full program.
Rather than approaching the festival as one uniform narrative, the system was designed to reflect the diversity of the lineup and its audiences more precisely, enabling more targeted communication across different musical directions.
The result is a flexible framework where multiple stylistic approaches coexist while still feeling part of the same festival universe.
